Helping You Reclaim Your Best Self.
Compassionate, Personalized Therapy for Life’s Challenges
I am a dedicated medical social worker with nearly a decade of experience in the inpatient hospital setting, specializing in the emotional and psychological complexities of chronic illness. My journey began with a degree in psychology and family studies from the University of New Hampshire, followed by early professional experience in a non-clinical role at Boston Children’s Hospital. Inspired to deepen my impact, I earned my MSW from Simmons University and returned to Boston Children’s as a social worker in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Acute Cardiac Care Unit. Today, I serve as the team lead, guiding both patients and colleagues through the intricacies of medical and psychosocial care.
Hi, I’m Chelsea.
I am deeply passionate about supporting parents and caregivers of children with chronic illness, as well as adults personally navigating the challenges of long-term health conditions. My expertise lies in coping with congenital heart disease, grief and bereavement, and the perinatal continuum of care. Whether you’re managing the emotional toll of a diagnosis, grappling with loss, or seeking guidance through life’s transitions, I am here to help. My approach is strengths-based, rooted in motivational interviewing, and always tailored to meet you where you are. Above all, I strive to provide a fresh, empathetic perspective that fosters resilience, empowerment, and even a touch of humor.
Asking for help—especially when facing uncertainty—can be one of the hardest steps to take. My role is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and validated. Chronic illness can be isolating, unpredictable, and overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. While I may not share your lived experience, I bring deep compassion, clinical expertise, and a steadfast commitment to walking alongside you. I look forward to learning your story and supporting you through this chapter of your life.
